The mobile geological laboratory camper trailer designed to support geologists by providing timely sample analysis, food, and accommodations for scientists in the field.

This solution serves geological scientists from universities, research institutes, and oil companies, addressing the challenges of remote fieldwork without nearby labs or accommodations.

Final Design Layout

This design is for 3 people most. My mobile Geo-lab has two areas, the living area and the experimental area.

Experimental Lab

In the experimental lab, there are five key pieces of geological equipment that are compact and portable for convenience. These are securely fixed to the table for safe transport.

The living area combines sleeping quarters, kitchen, restroom, and dining space, efficiently balancing functionality and openness.

Usage Steps

The scientists get off the geological exploration camper trailer and prepare to leave.

The scientists take tools from the toolbox for exploration.

The scientists set off to the exploration site.

The scientists sort the samples outside the camper trailer.

The scientists return to the geological exploration camper trailer.

The scientists start collecting samples at the exploration site.

The scientists begin conducting experiments in the mobile laboratory

Transfering the selected samples to the mobile laboratory through the portal.

Design Process

I started with sketches, then progressed to refining the form and exterior patterns through modeling. Through this process, I made sure to preserve the dynamic nature of the design. Then I further developed and finalized my design concept.
